Green Valley Park is Greensboro, North Carolina’s Premier Swim and Tennis Club. We have been in existence almost 50 years! Located near Friendly Center, GVP offers a convenient location to some of the finest swimming and tennis programming in the city.

Pool Opening and Pig Pickin’ Information

The pool will open at Noon on Friday and will be open until 10 pm for Friday Night Float night. Pool hours for the rest of the weekend are as follows:

Friday, May 24
Noon – 10 pm
Saturday, May 25
11 am – 9 pm
Sunday, May 26
Noon – 9 pm
Monday, May 27
11 am – 8 pm

 

The annual Pig Pickin’ is also Friday, please arrive as you see fit but BBQ, etc. will be served around 6:30 pm.
To go with BBQ, please bring an item to share as follows:

  • If your last name begins with letter A – L, please bring a side dish
  • If your last name begins with letter M – Z, please bring a salad or desert
  • We will supply BBQ, buns, plates, utensils, etc.
